Being a good listener has helped me tremendously in life and it is an essential tool in my real estate business. It is the key to understanding how I can better serve my clients, and it improves the quality of my relationship with them. There is a saying that goes, “To appear wise, one must talk; to be wise, one must listen.” These words play a vital role in my daily schedule. Finding someone’s dream home means tapping into their head that’s swarming with ideas and images, and putting them all down on paper. It’s more than just finding them a big yard or a master bath with two sinks. It’s about finding them their own piece of heaven on earth.

Where it all Began

I had just graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a bachelor’s degree in art and a minor degree in marketing when I soon discovered there weren’t a lot of jobs where I could sell my ceramic bowls and pay my rent. So I took a job as a sales assistant in a model home for Huntington and Highland Homes. The house was absolutely gorgeous and a delight to show off to those who walked through the door each day. I listened to the potential buyers “ooh” and “ahh” at the house’s beauty and also whisper their dislikes.

From his adjoining office in the model home, I listened to my boss discuss the house, the neighborhood, the city and the

mortgage process with the walk-ins, and what all he could do for them. I learned a lot in two years and decided that selling

real estate was right up my alley: people, houses, beauty, freedom to make my own schedule, and peace of mind. So I took a desk job at Dallas Online Realty as an office manager and pursued my real estate license in 2004. In 2008, I joined Ebby Halliday, first in the company’s In-Town office in Dallas, and then in the Frisco office, which is near my home in Little Elm.

What I Value

An educated buyer is valuable. My goal is to make the entire home-buying process smooth and glitch-free, and the

best way to do that is to educate the buyer/seller. If they understand the procedures involved, they will be able to make an

intelligent and informed real estate decision. That is important, because buying or selling a home can be one of the most

significant investments a person can make in his or her life.

"...able to make an intelligent and informed real estate decision."

My Strengths

I am a people-person. Ask anyone who knows me. I was born and raised in Dallas, and it isn’t hard to sell this beautiful city!

I know its many aspects by heart: the neighborhoods, the schools, the restaurants, the roadways, the night clubs, the art venues, the sports. I’ve seen and experienced it all. I know the significance of planting roots and living in one house for 22 years, establishing life-long friends in the process and respecting the growth and success around me. My services include apartment locating, office space leasing and residential. I have a strong knowledge of urban living in Dallas, and I am familiar with the housing market in the city’s neighboring suburbs.
